Heaven’s on Fire
During the Heaven’s on Fire storyline, Zadkiel was in search of the biblical prophets like the anti-christ (Anton Satan), so he could eliminate them to prevent major biblical events to come truth. Jaine Cutter was able to reach Anton before he was eliminated by one of Zadkiel’s minions. While trying to escape, they met up with the Son of Satan (Daimon Hellstrom) who was also after Anton to eliminate him for his own personal reasons. Jaine didn’t allow this either to happen, and because Daimon and Jaine had bad history between each other. They would physically harm each other while fighting off Zadkiel’s men. Once they survived the battle, they bumped into the Ghost Riders and the new caretaker Sara.
Because they were all in someway or another in the same quest, they teamed up into two groups where Johnny and Dan would look for a portal to heaven to reach Zadkiel. While Daimon, Sara and Jaine would look for a satanic sanctuary to drop off Anton for safety. This was harder then it should have been because Zadkiel was strong enough to redesign the face of the earth to his liking, which he relocated the drop off zone for Anton. In a ghost town named Jasper County, Jaine was attacked by the MadCap while Daimon was fighting the Scarecrow at an amusement park and Sara and Anton were running from berserk villagers in another end of the town. Jaine’s bullets from her breathing gun weren’t able to attack the MadCap because he was able to stop them with his staring ability. He also used his powers on Jaine, which made her almost shoot Daimon in the head while he was dazed, if it wasn’t for Daimon’s quick recovery and swift action to blast Jaine with a small ball of fire from his trident. Together Daimon and Jaine were able to defeat the Scarecrow and MadCap with ease.
When Jaine and Daimon went looking for Sara and Anton, they found Sara tied to a column with a portal to heaven coming from her belly, while Anton was sending demons into her portal which were coming from Master Pandemonium’s own portal. Anton went into Sara’s portal, which Sara tried to follow and disappeared. Jaine was left with Daimon and a bunch of demons. After they defeated the demons, Jaine and Daimon were making out.
